of Openings: 1 or 2 Length of Funding: 1 year (expected to be renewed) Start Date: As Soon As Possible PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Large Federal agency is currently implementing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technology within its environment. The purpose of this effort is to integrate PKI into a selected application and to develop the Agencys initial PKI capabilities. This is the first phase of a major PKI implementation that is expected to take several years. JOB DESCRIPTION: Using a variety of computer security techniques, technologies, and tools, applicant will design, develop, and implement PKI technology solutions into highly sensitive computer systems and networks. Applicant will be involved in all phases of the full systems lifecycle including requirements gathering, preliminary and final design, systems development, integration and testing. Applicant will also be relied upon to perform or participate in security analysis of existing systems for compliance with security requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: BS required. Seven to ten years systems development experience. Four years experience implementing PKI technologies into hardware and software desired. Familiarity with a variety of security technologies and tools also desired. Experience with UNIX and/or Windows NT operating systems and C++ or Java a plus. |
